Email Verifier now runs on our own verification engine
Every address is checked against DNS and the mail server itself: MX, A, AAAA, CNAME, and NS records, syntax, disposable domains, then a direct SMTP handshake with provider-tuned timeouts. The engine recognises the secure gateways that sit in front of corporate mail, including Proofpoint, Mimecast, Cisco, Barracuda, Microsoft EOP, and Google Workspace, and adjusts accordingly.
Results come back as valid, invalid, catch-all, or unknown, with the provider and MX record behind each one, and are cached on the contact for 30 days so a repeat check is never charged.
